Hello, my name is Aaron Mehl, I live in Rechovot Isreal. I am a graduate of The Ohio State University (Columbus Ohio) and of Yeshiva Hadar Hatorah (Brooklyn New York). On this site I share with you information about myself, my hobbies, the projects I am working on and some useful files and links.

I a currently busy relearning technical writing and hope to soon return to the field.

Here are some of the projects I am working on:

Denemo is fast becoming the best music notation editor/score preparation program for Linux. I maintain the website Denemo, write the documentation Denemo Manual. (there is also one in pdf).

I started Denemochives as a repository for composers to store a backup of their compositions in the denemo xml file format of site. If you have a composition to submit visit Denemochives-submit

Kaballarelax.com is a site to promote a tape I produced a number of years ago, Outpouring of the Soul, which is an experiment using technology and kaballah to produce a unique relaxation tape based on Chabad nigunim, psycoacoustic and nature sounds.

What I Use

For the last five years I have been using Linux. I started out with RedHat 6.0, I am currently using Ubuntu but have tried many many distros, Currently I am firmly planted in the Debian world.

As time goes on I will post here various scripts, configuration files, and tips related to Linux.

Turnkey audio
This is an audio distribution for Linux, featuring easy to install scripts with applications mostly compiled from source code. This is where I started my Linux audio quest. Thanks to Kevin Ernst.
Omer Zak
Omer Zak has helped me with many Linux related projects, from custom scripts to helping build lilyxml. His specialty is Linux for the Hearing impaired. While he is hearing impaired it has never slowed him down, he is a master of so many things, I highly recommend his website.

This Asher Landesmans site. Asher, a dear friend has created a great resource for Commodity trading. He also has an extremely professional course on trading Commodities using Pivot Points. He also was the first person to fall in love with my tape, 'Outpouring of the Soul' and offer it for sale on his site.
